We are now looking forward to a new Surrey Championship season for our 3 League teams which will be under the direction of 3 new captains. Greg Burton (1st XI), Philip Boast (2nd XI) and Mark Pulling (3rd XI) look to the new season. Our 4th XI will have a younger feel this year as the colts management take over the reins with Neil Latham fronting as the captain. Sunday XI captain for the first time will be Matt Wiggins. The club would like to wish them all the best of luck for the new season. The ever popular kiwi Brendon 'BB' Byrne, our first ever cricket manager in the 2009 season, will look forward to working our with new captains in the coming winter months and net sessions leading on to the new season.

For the junior section 2010 will hopefully build on the success of 2009 in all age groups, and Friday nights will continue to be an ever popular coaching night and social evening. With the new 4th XI setup more colts will also gain valuable senior experience as well.

Our Genet Twenty20 league has expanded again, and Thursday nights should be pretty lively. Most sides comprise a combination of the good, bad and certainly the ugly. Enthusiasm is generally valued more highly than technique. So if anyone is interested in social twenty over cricket, Email Us and sure we can can put you in touch with a Captain who would welcome reinforcements.
