Chertsey Cricket Club AGM
On Friday 2nd December the club held its
AGM. In a show of support and belief in the direction of the club the
1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI and 4th XI will be led in 2012 by the men who
took charge of them in 2011. In fact only two changes took place at the
AGM to the structure of the club. Jack Ogle, who established himself as
a genuine 1st XI player this year after a shaky start to the season,
will lead the club on a Sunday as he takes over the Sunday XI captaincy.

New Sunday XI Captain Jack Ogle with Ryder
Cup just before the start of the season this year.
After Matt Wiggins (work commitments) and
Jake Taylor (injury) both stood down from the split Sunday captaincy on
Sundays this year at different points last season club stalwart Stuart
Eagles agreed to take up the role he had vacated in 2010 to help out the
club. Good luck to Jack for 2012.
The only other change sees Steve Anthony take over as Membership
Secretary. Good luck definitely to Steve in a role that is difficult due
to the size of the club but pivotal in the running of the club.
A full report will be made by Chairman Chris Smith soon. A 2011 senior
report is on the Seniors page.
